I'm Catherine your course leader for today.

I am a registered and certified integrative/humanistic therapist who a few years ago set up my own therapy room working from home.

I have com across many challenges and have spent extensive research into creating a safe and warm space for my clients, continuously adapting and changing my space. I have set this course up as I felt there was not enough guidance and support out there for counsellors and students who are going on the path of setting up their own or even adapting a therapy space they hire. Many times I have seen post after post about what is allowed and what are the must haves in a therapy room.

Therefore, by putting it all in one place as a course would hopefully be useful and hopefully you can take what you need from this, if that is just food for thought for further development into your practice.
